Secondhand Selection

Our carefully graded secondhand stock spans fiction, classics, history, and children's books — all priced to make reading an affordable pleasure.

Good

£3–£7 (paperbacks) · £6–£10 (hardbacks) Read and loved, with visible signs of wear. Spines may be creased, pages may have marks or foxing, but the book is complete and readable.

Very Good

£5–£9 (paperbacks) · £8–£14 (hardbacks) Minimal wear. Spine is intact, pages are clean, and the book looks almost new — perhaps a single shelf crease or gentle use.

Like New

£7–£12 (paperbacks) · £12–£16 (hardbacks) Unread or barely read. Pristine condition, tight spine, unmarked pages — nearly indistinguishable from a new book.

Rare & Collectible Finds

First editions, signed copies, and out-of-print titles for readers who collect. Stock rotates regularly — worth checking in often.

First Editions

Early printings of now-classic works, along with recent releases with edition value. Priced from £20 to £45 depending on rarity and age.

Signed & Inscribed

Books signed by the author, or with personal inscriptions from previous owners. Each has its own story — typically £25 to £60.

Out of Print & Unusual

Titles no longer in circulation, vintage editions, and books you won't find elsewhere. Individually priced from £15 upwards depending on demand and condition.
